Book of Lists Review

Richard Bruton reviews Book of Lists on the excellent Forbidden Planet blog today. "The Book Of Lists is a strange reading experience, but it works rather well. Rainey’s confident and honest enough to not hold back the details of his life that others may not want the world seeing and by doing so he’s created something remarkably interesting and engrossing. But most importantly, he’s a very funny writer who can raise a smile on a great many of his pages."

If you're visiting here for the first time because of the review or have decided that it's about time that you got a copy, Book of Lists can be purchased from The Shop using Paypal for £10.95. (Price includes postage to UK destinations.)

Thought Bubble

This Saturday, I will be be selling copies of Book of Lists and There's No Time Like The Present at my final comic event of the year, Thought Bubble in Leeds. This is my first appearance at Thought Bubble but I have heard very good things about it. I will be sharing the table with Martin Eden, whose all gay superhero comic has been all over the mainstream press this week. If you're in the Leeds area on Saturday then please pop by and say hello. I'll be behind the large crowd of people queuing up to buy copies of Martin's comic, Spandex.

TNTLTP Hits 250

I recently drew page 250 of my very long comic, or 'graphic novel', There's No Time Like The Present, which will appear in Part 11. Blimey! Normally, when I mention these event pages here I like to reproduce a panel from it as a taster. However, every panel from it is a spoiler. In fact, there are very few panels I've drawn so far for part 11 that don't give events away in some way. So instead, here's a panel from page 242.

PS - Cover art and pinups are not included in the page count.
PPS - Part 11 of There's Not Time Like The Present will be out early 2010.
