Secret Sketch

I came across this doodle over the weekend that I did of Mr. Fantastic in an old sketch book a couple of years ago. I thought I would share it with you because I like it and incase that scene occurs in the the comic Secret Invasion that Marvel are currently publishing.

Value Pack Sketch 2

Here's another of my Value Pack sketches. I think I miss drawing Kelly because quite a few of them seem to feature her.

Value Pack Sketch 1

When I exhibit at shows, I usually have "value packs" of There's No Time Like The Present for sale. These are runs of issues bundled together at a slightly cheaper price than when bought individually. The packs also contain an original sketch. Most of these sketches are lost to me as they now belong to someone else, but I still have some in my possession so I thought I would make them available here over time for you to look at.

TNTLTP part 8 Status Report

Just so you know, I am currently at the halfway point through drawing part 8 of There's No Time Like The Present. This means that the end of year publication deadline promised in part 7 is still on. In the meantime, here's a panel from part 8 carefully chosen so as not to suggest too much about the plot.

Out Takes

You might recognise this panel from There's No Time Like The Present part 7 which I decided to redraw. Originally, I drew Beth wearing a bra despite her appearances in earlier panels suggesting that she wasn't wearing one under her dress. Just before going to print, I realised that being embarrassed at drawing bare breasts was ridiculous and redrew it. Anyway, here's the self conscious original.

Party Pieces

At last weekend’s Low Energy Day (another success), I got the following comics by Francesca Cassavetti; Stuff, Paris Break, A Very Nasty Solitary Habit and Party Pieces. Francesca’s comics, or at least these, recount stories from her life in a lively, engaging, funny, affirming and affecting way. Visit her website to see samples of her work for yourself.
